Christian Multunas, Ph.D.
Christian started tutoring in 2014 while finishing up his undergraduate experience in the Physics department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He quickly developed a love of education, inspiring him afterward to receive his Masters in Secondary Education, with a specialty in physics education.
Christian had the privilege of teaching AP Physics 1 for a year at Hopkins School in New Haven, CT, after which he focused his career tutoring at Freudigman & Billings in Westport. While there, he helped students with subject tutoring and standardized test prep.
After two years, Christian made the decision to pursue his PhD. He returned to his alma mater of RPI, where he pursued research in the fields of Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Engineering. He continued tutoring throughout the duration of his PhD program, utilizing his research experience to provide enrichment experiences to some of his students.
Christian just finished up his PhD in August 2024. He currently resides in Milford, CT, and is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics at Fairfield University.
